Dr. Alfonso Espinel, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with extensive experience in urgent care, primary care, and emergency medicine. He is the Founder, President, and Medical Director of PrimeHealth Urgent Care and Primary Care in Manatee County, Florida, and serves as an Adjunct Professor for the Manatee Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program, where he mentors future family physicians.
Dr. Espinel earned his Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Católica de Guayaquil and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program in Alabama. He has practiced in both community and rural hospital settings and brings a comprehensive, compassionate approach to patient care.
